Set under deciduous trees on the cliffs of the Pacific Coast, Reserva El Toron, is a unique development surrounded by nature. Guests can truly disconnect, unwind and relax to the sound of the ocean, and explore one of the richest natural areas in Mexico. Offering fascinating nature walks, surfing, access to a natural lagoon and the feeling of swimming in the open ocean from the house pool.

Ubicación

The biggest attraction of Reserva El Toron is that it´s surrounded by nature yet still close to one of the coast hot-spots Mazunte and San Agustinillo. A charming beach town where the waves are as strong as the sun and the roads are mostly unpaved.

For the production of an audiovisual project in the property, it is necessary to notify the administration in advance and pay the corresponding fees.

Casa Chicatana

The master plan was developed in a site of great natural beauty, of a complex and unique topography. These specific features allow each element of the proyect to become an independent unit that emerges within the reserve.

This house was designed, using sustainably sourced materials, high-end wood creates a unique home that is at one with its surroundings and celebrates the richness and culture of the coast of Oaxaca and its people.

We enjoy celebrating life and the art of cooking for our guest using locally sourced ingredients. All our meals are prepared with great care and respect, offering guests an authentic, refreshing and stylish dining experience. Our house chef, has crafted the house menu which includes a wonderful combination of Mexico’s most flavorful dishes and those international dishes that we all love.
